New Review: Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Volume 4) by Tricia Copeland

ByTricia Copeland
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Kingdom of War (Kingdom Journals Book 4) by Tricia Copeland was an action packed, multi layer detail read, that had me hooked.

Not my first read by this author, or in this series, so I knew I was in for something dark and fun. And yes I know I jumped again to the middle, but this book reads like a standalone, and with the well place detail, world building, and characters, I didn't feel lost or confused. I actually got sucked into this book right away, and before I knew it I had it read. It's that type of book, and if this is anything to go by, I'm definitely going to be getting my hands on the other books.

New Review: Girl Trap by Cynthia Hamilton

My Rating: 3 of 5 stars

Girl Trap (Madeline Dawkins #3) by Cynthia Hamilton was a gripping suspenseful read that kept me reading. The third book in this series, I was excited to get my hands on it.

Now this is a continuation series, so I highly suggest reading the other two books or you will not be able to get the full impact of this story.Going into this book I think I might have set the bar a little too high, as I very much enjoyed the other two books, but I found this one was a little off.

New Review: Moves by John Michaels

My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Moves by John Michaels was a heart pounding thriller that had me hooked, hard!

Wow, like, wow, I'm still trying to process everything that went on on this crazy good read. So much, like, as I was trying to piece everything together I kept thinking I was missing something, like a word you forgot, or a lost memory that just keeps slipping away from you. I love books like that, books that keep you guessing, on the edge of your seat, and just captures you fully, to the point were it's 3 in the morning and you're deciding if you're going to call in sick to finish the book, or force yourself to stop and try and get your mind to rest. That my friends is this book.

My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gumshoe And The Mysterious Mushrooms (Gumshoe Mysteries Book 1) by Laura Hawks was an intriguing original read, that kept me flipping the pages.

The first book in what I believe is going to be a crazily outstanding series, we are taken on a mysterious adventure with a talking cat and a teen who learns that her life and what she believe isn't all that true. As YA is my guilty pleasure, when I seen this quirky read pop up I had to grab it, and man oh man, I'm so happy I did.

My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hoosier Dad by Elizabeth Seckman was a fun, light hearted, witty read that had me hooked from that first opening sentence.

My first read by this author I didn't know what I was getting into, and lets just say, I liked it, I liked it a lot. This book was, as I said, super fun, witty, interesting, mysterious, steamy, weirdly outrageous, and just, full of though good feels that have you going, why isn't this a movie?!.

My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a gripping psychological thriller, that had me hooked from start to finish.

Have you ever sat at the end of a book and just went, what the hell... what the hell? That was me, full on, not really comprehending how the author led me by the nose. This book was even told in dual POV and still managed to mislead you and catch you off guard. Again, what the hell?... (These are good, what the hells, BTW)

My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hidden Magic: A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella by India Kells was a fast past, engaging read, that had me hooked.

This quick short read is packed full of action, romance, emotions, growth and of course, magic. It hooked me right away, and I dove right into this little wonder. As this is a side story to the main series, it can be read as a standalone. So don't worry about spoilers or feeling lost. As someone who follows this series, it brought me new characters to grow and love, and old ones I have missed. It was a good combo and made me remember why I love this series so much.

Smoke & Mirrors (Nite Fire #3) by C.L. Schneider was a fast pace, action filled, suspenseful read, that had me hooked.

The third book in the Nite Fire series and it kicks off right away setting the stage, tone, and the deadly mystery. I got sucked in right away and I did not want to stop reading this book. It has everything I love about otherworldly magic, urban fantasy, and shifter fantasy all rolled into one hell of a good read.

My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

An Unexpected Sequel (Paranormal Talent Agency #4) by Heather Silvio was a fast pace, fun, quirky ride, that had me hooked from start to finish.

The fourth book in this wonderful series, we finally get to see the whole deal with Robin, who was first introduced in the first book. This was a great highlight, and it really changes your mind of her, and the shirt story she's had to endure. It also brings to light what Barbara really is, how evil, and what her dark plans have bene all along.

My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Saint Code: Lost (The Lucky Devil 4) by Megan Mackie was fast pace, thrilling and just, wow.

This wonder was another perfect addition to this ever growing multi level, story/magical world. Though it says book 4, it's more like a prequel, as it does take place before the start of the main series. So in saying that, if you haven't read the first two books with the main plot, and characters, then you will have no worries about spoilers from this one.
