One day sale for Michelle Lynn - Seeing You

~ Release Day Sale !~

****************************
Todd's my next-door neighbor - an up-and-coming chef ready to make his mark on the world. His dreams are bold and limitless, his drive even more so. He offers me a favor, one that I can't refuse...only there are strings attached.

Amelia's my next-door neighbor - a talented photographer waiting for her big break. Her dreams are authentic and intense, her art even more so. I made her a offer and she accepted...but I asked for something in return.
Two favors meant to make our dreams come true. Our careers were supposed to change, not our friendship. Success was the ultimate goal...until we saw each other in a different light.

Review Update!: Interview With A Hex Boy: Volume II

Interview With A Hex Boy: Volume II (The Divinicus Nex Chronicles)Title: Interview With A Hex Boy: Volume II
By: A&E Kirk
My rating: ★★★★★

I got to say there's never a dull moment when the HEX Boys are around.

I love the interviews almost as much as I love the books, and not only did this little gem brighten up my long ass day, but it had nice little treats of deleted scenes and, to top it off they were told from alternate POV's. I always get giddy when I can get inside one of their heads and get to know what they were thinking when a dire situation happened, and thoughts on the after math.

Guest Reviewer Update! Beastly Tales by M.J. Haag

Guest Reviewer: Jill-Ann Guyette
Rating: ★★★★★
We all know the tale of Beauty and her Beast. The bookworm daughter of an inventor who is the desire of the town’s main man; the prince who lives in an enchanted castle serving penance for his selfish ways. But what happens when the beauty is the youngest of three girls and is treated more like Cinderella? What happens when the beast is enchanted for his lewd and indecent behaviour?  You get the Beastly Tales!

Lest We Forget

As many of you know, I'm a serving member of the Canadian Military. The RCN (Royal Canadian Navy) to be more persist.

I’ve been in for almost 10 years, I've been deployed, I have 530 days at sea, (not counting days in port or the endless weeks spend in and out of harbour doing trials) I've been to 14 different countries. Would I change it if I had my time back? Not a chance, I’d gladly do it all over again. I am proud to be a part of the force that has made it possible for us to be free. To live every day in a country where, we as people are free to live in piece, live in safety, without fear and frankly to live freely. There are so many things we take for granted, small things that never crosses our minds, like the simple act of opening our doors and walking to our cars, the bus stop, or to school. Not all countries can do this, and every day I thank the men and woman that give their lives so that we can.

Today, take the time give thanks when you remember, because there are places in the world where walking to get water is a hazard, where you could be hung for speaking your mind; places where people are too scared to sleep because it's simply not safe to do so. We don't like to think about it, we push it in the back of our minds because somewhere we think, that can't still be happening? We forget because we are at piece, we are safe, and we are free.
On this day, take time to remember, to give thanks, to acknowledge that what was done, what is still being done; so this country can stay at piece, stay safe and most of all, stay free.

Review Update! Candidate (The Black Mage, #3)

(I received this book as an ARC free from the Author in exchange for my honest review.)

My heart is broken, good god woman why? Just why!? Oh my dear Rachel, you know what I’m talking about and my poor little heart has been shattered by your author powers and the god like ability, to off people because you can. Not only that, the ending! I sat there starring at my phone for five minutes trying to swipe left, convinced there was another page. My co-worker looked at me like I was touched in the head. Oh my heart, it still hurts and my mind is filled with the horror that I have to wait for the last book. I'm petrified and excited for the blood and sorrow that is to come.
