  1. Hi, I found your blog on bookblogs. I post lists of reviewers who accept self-published books. Do you? Which genres do you prefer?

Also, you have grammatical errors in the title of your blog and on this page, both of which may work against you. It's (with apostrophe) means "it is." Its (no apostrophe) is a possessive, as in "its cover." Plurals never use apostrophes, as in "books to read."

    1. Hello,

Thank you for pointing out the mistakes, it's hard to try and correct your own work. I should have been paying more attention. But sometimes when in a rush, you don't see the little things. Thank you again. >.<.

I do accept self-published books, I actually prefer them. As for genres, I like, Mystery, Fantasy, Paranormal, Romance, Science Fiction, Historical Fiction, Suspense, Young Adult, New Adult, Fiction, and Comedy.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog, and sharing your feedback.

      Have a wonderful day.

    2. Hello Emily,

It is lovely of you to accept self-published work! I have added your blog to two lists of reviewers who accept self-published books. You can see the lists here (scroll down to the bottom for your blog):

      http://publishedtodeath.blogspot.com/2015/01/fantasy-and-sci-fi-reviewers-for-self.html

      http://publishedtodeath.blogspot.com/2014/08/list-of-online-reviewers-who-accept.html

These lists have gotten thousands of views.

You may notice, looking at the lists, that other reviewers include whether they accept self-published work, where they post their reviews, genres they like, and what type of format they accept on their review policy page. This makes things easier for both the reviewers and prospective authors.

      Good luck!

    3. Hello Hello :)

Thank You for adding me >.<

I don't have a review policy, I normally post my reviews on my blog, goodreads, amazon, and if it's there, Chapters, and Barns & Noble. I will take any format but I do prefer PDF, I find it easer to read on computer screens.

Thank you again for adding me to those lists.

      Have a great day!

  2. Hello Hello, Emily!

I very much enjoyed your review of my good friend Chanda Stafford's debut, FIRST. I thought you might be interested in taking a look at my novel through our mutual publisher Red Adept, BRAINEATER JONES. It's the story of an amnesiac zombie trying to solve his own murder in a gritty, Prohibition-era urban jungle. If you're interested in taking a look, please e-mail me at skozeniewski AT yahoo DOT com.

    Very Respectfully,

    Stephen Kozeniewski

  3. Hello Emily,

I found your blog through the Canadian book blog list, and as you are interested in sci-fi I thought I would see if you would be interested in reviewing my novel 'Revealing the Revolution,' It's a bit different from most sci-fi (and novels in general) as it is completely set in Canada! I've included the backcover blurb for you:

In the tenth year of the newest athletic craze, the Canadian Scanning Tournament, team Revolution is set to become the National Champion. As the team struggles to mend the divides quickly enveloping them, one team-mate has more than just the responsibility of winning. He must keep a dangerous secret while protecting his team from others in the Underground. Things slowly slip out of control as sabotage threatens Revolution's chance of winning the tournament, their career in the CST, and the revealing of a secret which will change Scanning and the multibillion-dollar company that created it. Forever.

As a fellow reviewer, I know what it's like to have a full reading list, and I'm in no rush for a review.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Your book sounds interesting, different, original, and set in Canada! It's not very often you get to read books set in Canada, it a shame, we have such a great country. >.<

I would love to read a review your book. My list is smaller now, and I can squeeze it in. :)

  4. Hi there! My name is Arielle LeClair and I am seeking reviews for my epic fantasy novel, Hollow's Charge. It has action, adventure, humor and a dash of romance for those who enjoy a bit of sweet with their journey.

Here is a brief synopsis for you: Magic has been lost to those inhabiting the Three Lands for hundreds of years. Now, a forgotten place called the Hollow is found within the realm of Ciyula, and it is in need of a successor. The Hollow has chosen Rosaleen Forlain to become its new Keeper. There is just one catch.

She must usurp the tyrannical Queen Asta in favor of crowning a mysterious young woman possessing an ancient bloodline long thought lost to the world. In addition to her burdens, Rosaleen must find this woman before Asta has a chance to join forces with the enemy in order to wage war against a kingdom that has long been Ciyula's ally. Rosaleen must betray her country and her House, forsaking everything for the Hollow and her new destiny. She must do this quest as a fugitive, avoiding forces sent to capture her by the queen and her own father.

Can she find the girl and stop the impending war before it is too late?

Hollow's Charge can be found here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/524558
