Short but mity! This book had me hooked right from the opening. Maddy was an excellent MC, real, repeatable, and someone you would get along with. The plot was fast but stayed on point, the love interest was pretty okay. He was there for her, helped, and didn't seem like an overpowering jerk. (The bar is pretty low peeps lol

I loved the magic, the mystery, the problem solving. I was fully engaged and before I knew it the book was over. At 92 pages I was surprised how well this story read and how well it was developed. I can't wait for more. This world has my full attention and I will be keeping an eye out for more books.

Overall this book is a perfect anytime read. There's a good mix of spice, fluff, action and magic. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that you will fall under this books spell.

  1. Great review! I'm a huge fan of paranormal romance. My question for the author is what inspired you to write the series? And have you always wanted to write paranormal romance?
