Toronto library to roll out book-lending machine at Union Station

RHEAL DOUCETTE, OTTAWA PUBLIC LIBRARY
When Ottawa’s library system installed its first two book-vending kiosks in 2010, they were touted as Canada's first.

"The Toronto Public Library hopes to roll out a book-lending
machine at Union Station by the end of the year. If it’s
successful, more could be on their way."

This looks like a good idea. I would love to have
this in any transit station, across Canada, or just on the side of the street.

  1. This is a really cool idea! The library is too far for me and we don't have reliable public transport (or any, really) here, so I'd dig having one of these within walking distance of my place!

  2. This is an awesome idea. I wish we had these where I live.
