Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard -Sword of Summer - Cover Revealed!

On June 20th Rick Riordan unveiled the cover for his new book and new series. I'm super excited, I love all of his work, even have all the box sets; but they’re just to look at. For my reading enjoyment I have all his books on my ereader.

Here's a quote I swiped from his blog.

"I'm delighted to share with you the final cover for The Sword of Summer, the first book in the series Magnus Chase & the Gods of Asgard. If you missed the reveal, with a sneak peek of chapter two, you can check it out on USA Today's site. The book will be published on October 6, 2015!"

Are you not as excited as I am? And the cover, it’s breathtaking. There’s so much power in that one image, so many things whispering at me, trying to tell me it’s secrets. I’m never one to wish for summer to end, but damn it, I can’t wait for October :p..

What about you? Are you a fan; are you not as excited or more as I am? Let it out in the comments below.

Happy Reading

  1. I'm super excited!! I'd heard he was doing a Norse mythology series a few months ago, but this cover is SO awesome! I really liked the Percy Jackson series and the Egyptian one is OK. But I really love Norse mythology and haven't read much fiction using it. So, yay!!

    1. It's strange isn't it that there's hardly any Norse mythology fiction kicking about. You think with Thor being so popular more people would jump on the bandwagon. I'm also wondering if Magnus Chase is the coursing that Annabeth said to have living in Boson? .... Four more months lol..
