The Green Room Chronicles

Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine (The Green Room Chronicles #1)Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine
by J.D. Frettier
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Desperately Seeking Sixty-Nine (The Green Room Chronicles #1) by J.D. Frettier was a quick, fun, light hearted, and smutty read, that had a little bit a everything.

This quick and dirty read was super fun, and was a first for me by this author. I enjoyed the easy flow writing and the sassy sense of humour. There's a lot going on for this fast read, coming in at 45 pages, the author did a wonderful job at not only displaying the MC quirky personality but did a excalent job at showing us the differences in the side characters as well.

The best part of this whole book was Bonnie freaking out cause she didn't want her kids to find her and her husbands "naughty toy" collection. I had a good a laugh at that. See this is why you need a plan in place.Me and my bestie got eachothers back.. if you know what I'm saying... ahahahah..

Overall this was just a enjoyable read. I give this book my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. I can't wait to read the next instalment of the Green Room Chronicles.

Linda Gets her Groove Thing (The Green Room Chronicles #2)Linda Gets her Groove Thing
by J.D. Frettier
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Linda Gets her Groove Thing (The Green Room Chronicles #2) by J.D. Frettier was a funny, weird and entertaining read, that had me in belly laughs.

Not my first read by this author or in this series, I will say that they read as stand alone's so no worries about reading out of order, but I do suggest reading the first book so you can get to know Bonnie and Dee. These books are super short, this one only coming in at 90 pages, so if you wanted to catch up on the first book, it won't take you long to read it.

I am loving this little series. I had a time with the first story, but this one. This one showed use a little bit of a different side of the Green Room. I have to tell you that these books don't take themselves seriously. They are all in good fun. So don't get all bent out of sharp when these girl get explicit with their sex lives, beliefs or doctors visit. (You'll get it once you read this wonder)

Being as this book is so short I'm not going to get into the plot, because anything will ruin it, but I will tell you that you're going to laugh at the connection between the ending and the book cover. I had a good chuckle at it. Moving on.. I want you to know that the writing in this book is fun, easy to follow and has a bounciness to it, that just draws you in. The characters are something special, and are the life of a party. I hope when I kick it, I meet crazy peeps like Bonnie and Dee.

I give this book and this series my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval. It will make you laugh, giggle and hoping that the afterlife is going to just as fun, weird, and quirky as The Green Room.

Flirty DancingFlirty Dancing

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Flirty Dancing (The Green Room Chronicles, #3) by J.D. Frettier was fun, light heart and quirky read, that will have you in tears both happy and sad.

Not my first read from this author or in this series, needless to say, but once I saw book three go up, I was excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it.

This book, as well as the others in this series, plays on the, what happens after death mystery. It's well thought out, and as I have said, fun, quirky, and full of laughs. It’s more on the playful side of the steaminess, and gives a nice nod to Dirty Dancing at the end. I have to say, out of all the books in the series so far, I enjoyed this book the most. I think it was because the MC is much younger and truly loved her husband and family, not saying the others didn't, but this one I was just, I don't know, it struck a cord with me, and I just loved the MC to bits. It was as quirky as it was heart touching and steamy.

Overall this book, this series, is a must read, and gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Happy Reading
