A Viking's Lost Soul (Warriors of Hrothgier Book 1) by T.M. Grinsley was a witty, action packed steamy read, that got me right in the feels, in more ways then one.
I got nothing.. No seriously I can't get my thoughts together to tell you how much I freaking loved this book. Not my first read by this author, so I knew I was in for something witty, sassy, smutty and fun. I could not stop reading, I was hooked from the moment I started reading, and I need more damn it.
Staph was the character we all dream about reading. Smart, fierce, sexy, funny, weird, quirky and gave zero's f's. I loved her straight forwardness and blunt mouth. She carried the story and shone like the Viking worrier princess she is. P.S. I loved Xena!
Finn... Hot, brewing, hot/cold, sexy... If I didn't think Staph was my soul sister I would steal him; but, since he is a fiction character I'll let her have him. In all seriousness, he was a solid character. Hionly fault wold be if was too alpha. It wasn't overly bothersome, as he wasn't over too baring, and with the split POV you got you see how much he cared and loved Staph. I understood his hot and coldness, and he was written in such a way where you couldn't help but feel for him and his situation; even when he was being a dick.
Overall this book was outstanding. The writing was smooth easy to follow. The attention to detail was phenomenal, you can tell a lot of care and research went into making the read as authentic and realistic as possible. It was more then a joy to read, and I hope this world is continued, because there are some things, or people, I want to know more about, and I think there is more to Staph and Finn's story.
So please take my super high recommendation and stamp of approval that you will not only love this book, you will laugh, cry, have a slight heart attack and swoon over hot, sexy, Viking killing sex gods.

Holy Hell Woman! What are you doing with my heart!
Who in their right mind ends a story like that? I mean, it was genius, and perfect, and just, my feels! But hell, that was some punch to the heart.
Be warned this is a continuation series, so you need to read the first book to get this one. That being said, the MC's are different, but the main plot is a carry over from the first book.
This book, the dark tones, even with the laugh out loud moments (there are many), those dark tones stay throughout, and the feeling of forbidding is always there, keeping you on edge. The chemistry between Christian and Amy, is hot, realistic, and just, I need a fan people! I love them. Christian is a fav of mine from the first book, so having him as one of the MC's was a treat for me. As much as I want him as mine, I'm happy to release my fangirl obsession and hand him over to Amy.
Oh man, I can go on and on about this book, but I don't want to spoil anything. So I'm going to stop fan-girling and leave you with my ultimate super high recommendation, and golden stamp of approval.
