Overall, this book was a captivating read. For me at times I will say there was a lot of over describing. But I think for me that’s more of a personal preference than a flaw in the book. I’m only mentioning it in case, if you’re reading this review and you have a similar preference. But everything else I very much enjoyed.
I loved the plot, I liked the characters and I loved the mystery. The opening really pulls you into what’s going to come in this book. And it jumps from that opening into another mystery in progress, which shows you the life that our main characters are living.
I like the twists and turns, I liked trying to guess who the killer was; I like pretty much liked everything about is book mostly, except for that one small detail as I mentioned above.
To end this book is worth your time and energy. If you’re looking for a gripping mystery with a little bit of thriller thrown in there, this book is for you. I do believe this book is part of the series but I didn’t totally get that feeling as this book reads more like a standalone, but if you want to go read the other books go for it, because I am.
Happy Reading
