Fun, mysterious, spooky, this book has everything I love when it comes to YA fantasy. This is a bit of a coming of age book, as our MC is at the tender age of 12, when you fell like you should be treated like an adult, still want to be a kid, and at the same time, noticing that feelings (of the romantic kind) that are creeping in and messing with your friendships. All while navigating the unknown. Trying to piece together that the things that were suppose to be superstitious stories are real, in the mists of trying to find and save your bestie; in said supernatural unknown.
As I don't want to spoil anything, I'm going tot keep this review short and to the point. This book is well written, researched, feels authentic, and will hook you from start to finish.
Overall this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
Happy Reading

What a fun interesting book. I’ve always been a bit fascinated with the young readers books. I find because the focus is not so much on romance, the story itself is more crafted and well written.
This book hit all that and more. It followed the first perfectly. I like how is shows the change in childhood friendships. We’ve all been there. It made this other worldly book grounded and relatable to it’s target audience.
This book, the series is truly something and I can’t wait to read more. This book gets my super tight recommendation and my stamp of approval.
Happy Reading.
