The Finder of the Lucky Devil: A Paranormal Thriller (The Lucky Devil series Book 1) Megan Mackie was freaking fantastic!
I am so excited right now cause that book was astonishing. Right from the prologue to the opening chapter it was fast pace, explosive and addicting. The writing was was easy to follow. The world building though was and little all over the place, but fit the complete chaos that seemed to explode all at once. The information was giving at the rights times, no info dumping here.
Rune was pretty bad-ass. This was a journey for her and I'm glade she pulled her broken self together in time to pretty much pull a miracle out of her behind. St. Benedict, I got some theories about him, and I need to read the next book to see if I'm right, though I have a feeling that if this is going to be a long series, as most Urban Fantasies are, it might be awhile. What I will say, he was a perfect match for Rune. They worked like they were destined to. From a few choices words, slight foreshadowing, I have a feeling they are going to much more.
There is a slow burn romance building, and I'm officially invested. So please take my high recommendation that you will not only love this book, but fly through it like I did. Don't get discoursed by the word count. Because of the pace and no lulls, it's a very fast read. With that said.
Happy Reading.

The Saint of Liars
by Megan Mackie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The Saint of Liars (Lucky Devil #2) by Megan Mackie was just as fast pace, fun, wicked, epic and just plain amazing as the first book.
God I love this series! Taking place almost right after the first books ends, about two months to be precise, it isn't long before we are tossed back into the thick of things, and of course Run's ex-jerkface a-hole hubby is at the center of it.
I'm going to keep this short, because there is a lot going on in this second installment; but you need to know that this book is freaking good. I mean the first book knocked me off me feet, but this one, I don't know if it was better, on par, or blew it out of the ball park. The only thing that I would say, wasn't as good as first, was how unclean some of the transitions were. They blended together at times, so I think another edit will help smooth that out.
Man, oh man, my brain is in a jumble, I just want to shake people are scream that they need to get their hands on this series!
With that said, please take my super, super high recommendation that this book is setting new standers, braking bars and causing my heart to stop. I need the next book.. tomorrow.

Saint Code: Lost: Book Four of the Lucky Devil Series
by Megan Mackie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Saint Code: Lost (The Lucky Devil 4) by Megan Mackie was fast pace, thrilling and just, wow.
This wonder was another perfect addition to this ever growing multi level, story/magical world. This read is prequel, as it does take place before the start of the main series. So in saying that, if you haven't read the first two books with the main plot, and characters, then you will have no worries about spoilers from this one.
So, where do I start? This little wonder sure was a kicker, coming in at a short 140 pages, this fast read packs a powerful punch. The details were on point, the tone and flow was smooths, and gets this wonder moving. Our MC, St. Augustina was a joy to read about and get to know. I may have a girl crush on her. She's powerful, takes no BS and just, an outstandingly well written character. You can't go wrong with an MC like that. If the MC doesn't keep you reading, then the compelling plot, drama and action will.
Overall this book is a spoil 5 star read, and it gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

Death and the Crone: A Lucky Devil Romance
by Megan Mackie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Death and the Crone (The Lucky Devil Series Book 3) by Megan Mackie was a hooking, unique, outstanding read, that had me flipping the pages late into the night. Why does work have to ruin good books?
Not my first read by this author or in this series, I was super excited to get my hands on it. I will say that this book isn't actually book three of the Lucky Devil Series, it's a story set in that world, with different MC's and plot. So it can be read as a standalone, and as a side story to the main one. I do however suggest reading the other books, because they are, amazing.
This book was so fun, unique and just, wow. It took the over used concept of the 100 year old supernatural something or other, that falls in love with the 16 year old minor, and flips it on its head. This book was all about taking those overused tropes & clichés and destroying them, while making new ones in the process. The plot itself is original, and grabs your attention right away. Like the other books, this one has that spark of adventure and danger, keeping you engaged. The detail was movie like, and helped round out the story and characters.
Overall this book is a super high recommendation from me. So please take my stamp of approval that, this book will hook you right from that opening scene, until the last pages of that wicket closing ending.
