Aiko (Heartstrings Book 1) by Brooke May was a fun, engaging, pulling read that had me hooked in seconds!
Oh my, this book was something else I tell you. I don't think I've ever had so much pure fun reading a romantic book before. Witty, funny, sassy, this book has a little bit of everything, while carrying this lighthearted tone that you can't help but fall into. Akio was on hell of a special kind of MC, and I loved every minute of it. There are few MC's that I love right away, and even less that I would want to actually meet in real life, Aiko though, Aiko is my girl. There's just something about her that I connected to, and I believe that just made this book for me, all the more enjoyable.
Overall this little wonder packs a punch and it will get your feels, funny bone and eyes rolling. The detail will pull you in, but the characters will have you staying the night. The richness that this world brings, as well as well researched mythology, will spark a new kind of interest. This book is truly one of a kind.
With that said please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval ,that you will get lost in this magical weird world of love, war, and sass.
