A short read, this isn't your conventional book. The unique style of mixed screenwriting and prose had me taken back at first. But it didn't take me long to get immersed into the story. It's just a matter of rewriting your brain, once I did, I very much enjoyed this offbeat writing style.
I like Vikki, she has bite, talent, and she has a big heart. She takes the time to get to know everyone she meets. (I can't remember a name to save my life.) But like the rest of us, she a mess most of the time. She isn't perfect, she doesn't always make right choices.
But that's life, and what makes things interesting.
There were a few grammar errors and a few places where a word was missing, making me confused. I'm not going to criticize, as my copy isn't the final draft. I'm sure when the final copy is done and released, these errors will be fixed.
I highly recommend this book. It's different, fun and the illustrations are beautiful. Don't be deterred because the writing isn't the norm. Great things all start from the different.
Thank you Isis Sousa for letting me read and experience this original and unique writing style. I can't wait for the next episode.
