Customer Reviews

"The ending was maddening! I want more, I need more! Is she crazy or isn't she; is it all in her head? Is that the point? This Alice is a lunatic in an asylum after all. You could go mad trying to make sense of the nonsensical!......" - KT

" I thought that Cameron Jace did an amazing job capturing the mad essence and nonsensical sense of Lewis Carrol in his writing. I am a huge fan of both Through the Looking Glass and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, so these books were a match made in mad heaven for me......" - Michelle@Book Briefs

"This book has topsy turvy twists as we explore yet another side of Cameron Jace's mind. This book will make you think......" - Coreysangel

Synopsis

After accidentally killing everyone in her class, Alice Wonder is now a patient in the Radcliffe Lunatic Asylum. No one doubts her insanity. Only a hookah-smoking professor believes otherwise; that he can prove her sanity by decoding Lewis Carroll's paintings, photographs, and find Wonderland's real whereabouts. Professor Caterpillar persuades the asylum that Alice can save lives and catch the wonderland monsters now reincarnated in modern day criminals. In order to do so, Alice leads a double life: an Oxford university student by day, a mad girl in an asylum by night. The line between sanity and insanity thins when she meets Jack Diamond, an arrogant college student who believes that nonsense is an actual science.

  1. I have actually read this one! And although I am usually someone who always falls for an Alice in Wonderland retelling, it saddened me a bit to not like this one as much as I hoped to. I am sure there are other people out there who will love it though! Thanks for sharing <3

    1. I actually really enjoyed this book, I liked the ending the most, because it has you thinking "was that all in her head the whole time?"

Sorry you didn't fall for it, we can't like everything >.< , but I can see how some people might not take it to as others. It's really left field, and a little confusing at times.

Cheers .. heading over to check out your book haul.. :D
