When Aria gains command of Sanborn Place and takes on a case involving a
mysterious paranormal, her life is put in more peril than ever as she finds
herself bound to an influential power player. She doesn’t want to be anyone’s
puppet, but must tread carefully as she traverses the streets of Spokane, WA,
or risk being overwhelmed by the forces moving against her.
As the only known pyrokinetic in the area, Aria is in high demand, but
not for her services. It seems that to those in power, she’s worth more dead
than alive, and if a mysterious enemy has their way, she won’t live long enough
to find out why.
Guest Post Topic: Shower
Thoughts? I know for me, I come up with my best ideas just standing in the
shower, what about you?
I find that I get the best ideas when driving. I drive around a lot for
work, sometimes spending up to five hours in my car so I have a lot of time to
just think. I’ll often drive to Lewiston ID, which is roughly two hours from my
office, and believe me when I say that there really isn’t much to look at along
the way and service is spotty so radio channels don’t come in clear, and I can
really only listen to my playlist over and over so many times. I’ve grown use
to silent car rides where I can be alone with my thoughts. I do most of my
outlining while driving. Putting together the pieces of the puzzle in my mind
and working through any roadblocks along the way.
I get some of my best ideas on the road because there really aren’t any
distractions. No facebook or pinterest, no kids wanting mommy to come play, no
new episode of Game of Thrones that I have to watch right that minute. You’d be
surprised how much writing you can get accomplished without doing any actual
writing at all.
