Manga Classics: Pride & Prejudice by Stacy King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Oh my!
I was in chapters just browsing trying to figure out what I was going to spend my gift card on when, -dermatic pause- out of the corner of my eye I see Pride & Prejudice in manga form. I totally did a fan girl scram, got a couple weird looks, but I simply shrugged and was like whatever like a boss.
The art work was simply beautiful and, was similar to the sailor manga art style. Very femanin, delicate and extremely detailed.
Did it stick to the original? Yes and no.
There was some slight differences in the dialogue and there was a little epilogue at the end, it did point out a few of the original things at the end, but there was a insert on the last page that is not in the book.
This didn't bother me, it's nice to see how others procive this timeless classic.
Over all I'm very impressed and can't wait to get my hands in others!
