I was told this book would be a complete mind blowing experience...I'm left confused and unsure I enjoyed that book at all. 2 stories, merged into one without closure, for that matter it ended so abruptly that it's almost like Cronenberg got bored with his own book.
Then there's a first person point of view of one of the main characters in the murder plot that goes on for 50+ pages that was a waste of space in my opinion. The grotesque subjects within the book bothered me far less than it probably should have. It was dark and twisty but in a non-entertaining way. I'm done, moving on to something else now.
I do not recommend this book to anybody, for that matter I didn't even want to put this book back on my book shelf.
