The Lighting Thief is a, Musical?

As I was searching the internet aimlessly, I came across a shocking (in a fangirl sort of way) article, stating that Rick Riordan's, (Author of the popular Percy Jackson and Kane Chronicles series), The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) is going to be onstage as a musical adaptation.

Well I thought, I don't know if that's going to be amazing, or ruin a series that I very much Love.

Unfortunately for me, I am nowhere near the area where this littler wonder will be taking place. So I will have to wait on other peoples reviews to form an opinion. Hopefully someone will record it.

Here is a sinbit of the artical.

As you can see this isn't a big production, but still, if I could I would, without a doubt, get out to see it.

If anything else you're supporting your local talent.
